Madame Flora

Flora d'Accacio, widely known as Madame Flora, is a Half-Elf noblewoman and scholar, and the primary curator of the Royal Institute of Cantonova. She is a Wargrave of Cuarto Almaviva, pact-bound to Mab.   She is widely known for her extraordinary intelligence. She speaks at least eight languages, including Draconic, Infernal, and Celestial. She is a major patron of the arts in the city, particularly of Opera  Less charitably, she is also known among the Council of Wargraves and the general upper echelon of Cantonova society for her intense nosiness. She is particularly prone to meddling in the affairs of promising adventuring parties who come to the Royal Institute seeking information. She was a key ally of the Dragonslayers of Cantonova during their adventuring days; in particular, she has been a mentor and close friend to Rusalka both in her work as an adventurer and in her time as a junior Wargrave.

Personal history

Flora was raised in the Near Isles until the age of twelve, when she was sent to live with her aunt and uncle in Cantonova after a family tragedy. She was present at the premiere of Lair of the Beholder, as her elder cousin was a member of the junior ballet corps.   Flora was appointed the head curator of the Royal Institute of Cantonova in Y1079 by Count Almaviva XV. She was a controversial choice due to her youth, but quickly became renowned for her particular dedication to Cantonovan history. Her acquisition of many artifacts and documents previously thought destroyed—from Arturo's original blueprints for the palace to the missing Siren's Tiara beloved by Countess Silvia Almaviva—has been a key contribution to the preservation of Cantonova's history.
