Nármada

Nármada is a river goddess of the Pioneer Dynasty, also associated with the ephemeral and the impermanent. Nármada is also an ancient name for the Dreibach River, dating from thousands of years before Dreibach was founded.   Followers of Nármada are relatively rare in the current age, though shrines and temples to her are still found in the towns along the Dreibach River. Her followers are known for the pilgrimage they make once per decade circumnavigating the river, never crossing it at any point. Along the way, they trace intricate designs into the mud along the riverbank that are washed away by the river in time. The journey in its entirety takes over a year.
