Poseidon
Poseidon is the god of the oceans in the Olympian Dynasty, and one of the most powerful gods of the Age of Complexity alongside his brothers Zeus and Hades. He is the god who raised the Three Brothers Isles from the Aegirrán Sea after the Litigation of Flames, and he is the patron god of Psedonia. He is also the chief deity worshipped in Brightwater, and his church is a major presence in port cities across the world. He is thought to reside not in the Upper Planes, but instead at the deepest point of the Elemental Plane of Water.
He is typically depicted as a large Human or half-Dwarven man with a long, full beard made of seafoam. In most depictions, he is bare-chested, carrying a trident, and riding a horse with the tail of a great fish. He is sometimes instead depicted with his own legs replaced with a fish's tail.
