Highly regarded among Native Martians, Mufrat rose to interplanetary attention due to his famous "Blood on the Scales" diatribe, which became a rallying call against Terran oppression:
“The scales of justice keep society together. It tells us what we owe and what we are owed. But when blood is spilled upon the scales, it taints the equation and shifts the balance. This inequality cannot be ignored. Time does not wash away the blood on the scales. You must either compensate for the weight or accept that your system will never be just again.”
