Yabalchoath, the Ebon King
Yabalchoath is the brutally efficient lord of the Criminal underworld. An ebon demon, she revels in her own decadence, and finds value in only wealth and signs of power. She is the King of 111 111 Planes, and uses their resources to subvert her enemies and take what is rightfully theirs.
She is Bearer of the Word Tower.

Personal history
Born when the Gods cast the Hot Black Flame they saw as a failure into the Void of Creation surrounding Orasrupt, Yabalchoath likely stewed until the end of the First Conquest, emerging in physical form when she was masked as a lower devil. She ascended in the ranks, shedding name after name until she became an Ebon Devil at the beginning of the Second Conquest, a two centuries before the start of the Universal War.
Since the end of the Universal War, Yabalchoath has largely stayed in her vault, only leaving when one of the Seven calls a meeting.
Yabalchoath acquired her Key of Kings in a less conventional way. About two centuries before the end of the Universal War, Yabalchoath decided to appeal to the Heretic's Court for permission to steal from one of the leading Demiurges, a massive Platinum Great Wyrm by the name of Aerosclughpalar. He was self identified as the King of Dragons, a claim that many of the Dragons of Orasrupt chose to acknowledge due to his great wealth and enormous power. Given the cut the Court might have gotten, as well as the chance to get rid of a powerful Ebon Devil, they approved her mission.
Yabalchoath broke easily into the Dragon's vault, which contained the wealth of a thousand worlds - one of the largest hoards ever assembled, and only second to Yabalchoath's mythical hoard. However, the devil ignored the wealth, and went straight for the slumbering dragon. In one swift motion, she stole the shine from Aerosclughpalar's head, seizing the power he had accumulated. Then, she struck the dragon dead with her newfound power, claiming his hoard, and, even further, his claimed throne. Any dragons who debated the claim were paid handsomely for their loyalty, or killed mercilessly.

Attack at the Vault
Yabalchoath's Vault was recently the focus of a great magical attack. While it is rumoured to be an attempt on the Dragon Imperatrix's life, very little news has properly spread on what actually occurred.Personality Characteristics
