Menian

In the first century of adaptation to their new locale, there was a great need for accurate communication between settlements. This a spread of literacy among the populace. Due to the loss of cross-reference with Old World content and texts, a simplified different kind of writting was adopted that mixed. When the situation began to stabilize, the older form became a status symbol employed by those able to govern the realm. The great Families employ a noble written form of Menian known as "불멸의언어" or "Immortal Tongue". This elevated language is the one used in internal political affairs and is considered more artistic.
Menian presents, much like the Japanese of Bushin, many different characters to express the same term. It can present a mixture of complex characters or simplified characters with complex ones in-between.
