The eldest daughter of King Jean IV de Fortern is the beautiful and cunning princess of the Fortern Kingdom. Her grace and eloquence has conquered many in her diplomatic missions in the other courts of the Eastern Realms.
Her duty consist in keeping the noble's view on the Demon Empire instead of each-other. She and her servants serve as mediator for the nobles while the king and his closer advisors handles the merchants and military affair. Her younger sister, Emily de Fortern, also tries to fulfill that role with less success, to the amusement of Ophélie.
At first the nobles thought they where being belittled because the king wasn't participating. But Ophelie's charms proved so charismatic that some nobles think they are the ones being favored. Some whispers suggest some powerful allies would like Ophelie to rule and not her older brother, the heir to the throne.
