Ecosystem

No life can be sustained in the frozen forest, all occurances of life are either just animals strolling through or tourists that gaze in awe at the eternal tundra.

Localized Phenomena

The ice in the frozen forest never melts but also never expands.
No matter how hot the summers are, the frozen forest always stays the same.
Ice that dug up or melted from the heart of the frozen forest "regrows" just minutes after it was removed and even seconds in colder seasons.
Many tried digging into the lake, some managed more than others, but after several casualities where the ice regrew above the digging group and trapped them, not many stayed eager to shovel their own graves.

Fauna & Flora

Once this forest was filled with lush green trees, bountyful berry bushes and breathtakingly beautiful blossoms.
It didn't lose any of this through the ice, the colours of everything shine through the sheets of frost, frozen in time.
Even animals can be seen, stuck in the past; they still look as if they could escape their now statuesque existance and spring back to life at any moment.

Natural Resources

The frozen forest became a steady supplier of ice for local stores and Levivet as a whole throughout the year.
While the area could be harvested, studies showed that animals, fruits and vegetables are still edible - and quite tender - after thawing, it is strictly forbidden by the Inner Balance of Levivet to gather any resources - besides ice from the lake.

Tourism

Every year hundreds of people visit the frozen forest, some do it to cool off in the summer, some want to get enchanted by the view and the encompassing myth and others visit the forest to try and dig their way into the The heart of the frozen forest to get it's mysterious treasure.
