The Law of Divinity

The mark of divination is only granted to 8 greater and 16 lesser deities. An overview about current pantheon can be found here. Even a more powerful being can not become a god or goddess without the mark of a current god or goddess. The mark of divination can be taken by killing the former owner or by giving it up freely. The mark itself allows to channel way more Ti (see Ji, Ti and the weave).
