Orion

1045 years ago, Orion was created by the God of Gods, Alm. She crafted the world of Orion and graced it with her 10 Greater Deities and several Lesser Deities to rule over different domains. Throughout the world of Orion's life, it has had currently two Eras. The Dragon's Ruling Era, and the current Era, After Inviktus. The first war that divided the world, was waged from the Chromatic Dragons against the Metallic Dragons. This split many of the inhabitants against each other, and caused many to lose faith in the Metallic Dragons. However, the War would be ended by a group of 6 adventurers known as the Alm's Chosen. This would not be the end of the first Era though. As the world healed from the Chromatic/Metallic Wars, it would eventually be brought into hopelessness and hopelessness. As the Alm's Chosen would wage war upon the world of Orion at -20 DR. Inviktus would lead the heroes of old that brought down the Elemental Eternal against Orion herself. She would cause irreversible damage to Orion and her people, but not just the Material Plane, but others as well. She would cause the extinction of the Fey Patrons, the abandoning of the Gods of Orion, and even split the Continents upon her death. Which, upon her death, would bring a welcoming to the current Era. Now the Era of After Inviktus, or AI, would know much peace compared to the former Era. Though, Orion would not know true peace, as many monsters, abominations, and villains would plague Orion. Heroes would try to rise, organizations would form to fight, and Cities would offer walls to protect. Some to mention that would offer a fight against what is now common place, such as the undead, monstrosities, abominations, fiends, and horrid beasts. The Jakobs Monster Hunter Corps, the Occult, The Inquisition, The Stint Family and even the Vampiric Council would do their best to fight that which plagues Orion. The forefront of our story, The Jakobs Monster Hunter Company, Undead Division. A new Division created by brother and sister Viktor and Elektra Jakobs would bring together a group of adventurers hungry to light the torch on the darkness of Orion. They would be trained extensively and let loose as dogs of war, hoping to bring an end to the creatures of the night that truly terrorize Orion. Will they succeed, or be extinguished to the darkness? Only blood, sweat, and time will tell as they set forth on their damned quest.
