The hymn/legend seems to speak of the Demon Witch Inviktus and her reawakening.

It is often spread only between those who are history lovers, those who worship Cain, and those who were around during the time of Inviktus and shortly after her defeat.

The reception is often interpreted as a code or warning of such around those who know of it. It is as well told as a sort of nightmare bedtime story told between kids and teens.

It is often referenced in books that speak of Cain, Sellidan, or Fallip. As well it is sometimes referenced in books of the Covenant of Five.
In Art
It has only been seen in paintings that are usually depicted as a door draining of blood as it pours out from underneath.
