The Eastern Isles
The Eastern Isles are one of the Five Continents that exist on Orion. To the East of the Main Continent, lies several smaller landmasses that always seem to be affected by the cold elements. No matter the season, it is always snowing. However, the season does seem too affect the coldness of the Eastern Isles or the severity of the weather. The Eastern Isles is home to two major cities and multiple tribes and smaller townes that are home often to those who are less effected by the cold. The major cities in the Eastern Isles are Halint and Ko. Halint being the capital of the Eastern Isles and where one the 5 Kings resides.
Geography
The geographic features of the Eastern Isles are a Tundra. Several caves rest around the Eastern Isles, and many travelers have told tale of finding hot springs within or even lava pools in caves. As well, some caves lead into the Under Dark. Though, some of these contains compete forested Biomes under the snow that seems to grow as Bio luminescent forests. They oft feed off the heat underneath and moistness of the tundra sinking deep into the earth of Orion.
Fauna & Flora
Very few trees grow in Orion. Though any that do grow in the Eastern Isles, are often thin and tall, or pine trees. In certain caves where the Biome can thrive, are bio luminescent like plants and fauna. Several types of mushrooms grow here, including Lantern Fungi, Sticky Mush, and Lava Plume. Used in several alchemical means, but have useful or dangerous effects on their own.
Natural Resources
Several thick and big beasts roam the lands, such as Mammoths, Sabre Tooth Tigers, Walruses, and several more. As well, many ore pockets are inside cavernous areas, and even many caves that support the area for farming and grazing more domesticated creatures. Several Fungi can be used for cooking or edible needs, such as the Cook's Shroom, Green Hue, and Vibrant Blush. There are many areas for hot springs in the Eastern Isles caves, and a small holiday towne on the Island that contains Ko, uses the biggest hot spring to tend too tourists. Trees and wood are not as big in the Eastern Isles, but there is plenty of wood to be used when it is gathered.
