Berkhom

Much of the lumber from Berkhom heads to Schoonhoven Shipyards from the Kirkhund Lumber yards from Berkhom. This town grew in population from a small lumber camp originally. The demand for the birchwood planks here for the Frisian navy caused a boom that has been sustained ever since.

Demographics

Much of the population are lumberjacks and lumbermen and anyone who can swing an axe ends up here.
