Fort Shym
Located past Lachen, Fort Shym is one of the two ways into the Tschilin Valley. Owned by Fribourg, it acts as a checkpoint for any travelers passing into and out of the valley. Each and every visitor must be logged, searched, and then sent on their way. Fribourg routinely taxes individuals passing through and their goods. The garrison itself is manned by a rotating group of regiments. Each regiment serves duty here for two months out of the year.
