Fort Verdadiging
One of two massively armed and manned forts protecting Margraten. It is located on the south side of Glanzund Cliff. Like it's sister fort, Fort Glanzund, Fort Verdadiging is a very modern fort. It has been updated consistently to accommodate more powerful defenses over the years.
Defences
The fort is a massive stone star fort. It boasts 60 cannons reaching out into the Arden Sea to deter any would-be attackers with interlocking fields of fire. Garrisoned here is also two regiments of Frisian militia that can be dispatched to defend Margraten and the surrounding area.
Geography
This fort sits at the tip of the Bijtend Cliffs and protects the south side of Margraten and the surrounding area.
