Fort Verj
This fort is located on a small peninsula off the Valkenbay facing the Veerund. It protects sea trade going around the Verboten Eislandes. It is not as well funded as some of the larger forts in Frisia, but it is quite capable of staving off any would-be pirates and assailers. It also has a large dock that has a small fleet of fast Frisian Fluyts moored at any given time ready to foray into the water to assist.
Defences
A long coastal wall goes from the fort all the way to Veerhausen. This wall has batteries of coastal artillery ready to fire.
Geography
The peninsula it sits on is fairly high off of the coast, so it is hard to attack from the hill. Only the dockside is low enough to approach from the water.
