Ockney's Hold
A small mining village renowned for its Copper hills and Azurite mines, once a year a great festival is held to celebrate the harvest of the Fall season in Andrim at Ockney's Hold. The Village was founded as a keep for a noble lord by the name of Ockney, a duke of one of the Kings of Balast's age; however the old keep the town was named for had long since crumbled, its now a few rows of small wooden houses and thatch huts and stands that culminate into a town square, with the mines the town is so famous for located a few miles just outside the small settlement. The Brandybale Wine families vineyard is located just South of the town near the RiverlandsĀ
Visitors stopping into the town can either stay at The Blue Belly Inn, located in the town's square or if they're short on coin in the Black Lung Tavern; a cheaper and smaller place just outside the town halfway down the roads that venture into the copper hills and the mines below.
There is a general trader as well as several food vendors that are also stationed in the town square but outside of that, the village of Ockney's Hold is largely just residential housing for miners and their families.
