The Conquest of Ajax and The Purge

The period referred to as "The Conquest of Ajax" describes the year and the immediate fall out of both Ajax's coup and overthrowing of King Ormund as well as the signing of The Black Iron Pact and the subsequent purge that followed.
Ajax's Outer Heaven Fortress appeared in the skies above Tor One stormy evening, thus began a battle that would rage through the night, destroying key parts of the Colossal Keep in the process, demons fiends and dragons alike clouded the skies above the city as forces waged war. A great bronze dragon fell into the city square within Tor during the battle, and to this day its skeleton remains built into the very fabric of the city. By the second day the conflict was over, and a new king was declared in Andrim as Ajax waved the Black Iron Banner over Tor and thus all of Andrim; the Age of Peace had ended, giving rise to the age of Conquest.
