60. "The Siege of High Hluvthvar"
General Summary
- The party successfully escaped the tower by abseiling down one side and running away. They lost their pursuers before arriving at the River Reaching proper, blocked by a colossal, frozen wave of bodies.
- After following the river for a few bends they saw in the distance, the lost city of Talis. Meanwhile...
- The forces of the Fringelands rallied to attack High Hluvthvar, the bastion formerly held by the Woodsmen Order within the Reaching Wood . The siege was successful, Render, the demon made an appearance, decimating the ranks of the Fringeland warriors before disappearing into a portal as quickly as they arrived. In the wreckage of the siege, Druga Kibblewhite breathed her last breath, skewered by one of Renders swords.
