Humans

Humans are the most populous and widespread of the races in Oskaria. Living in every climate, with every race, they are tenacious and determined. Telling a human they cannot do something is seen as more of a challenge than a dissuasion, and they are well known to take up the mantle to travel into the wilderness between the war torn cities, taking supplies and stories with them.
Coming in every shape and size, color, gender, and lifestyle, humans are fiercely loyal and hard working. They make so much of their relatively short lifespans as compared to most every other race - building massive cities, having large families, shouldering causes that other races might debate for 10 years before accepting or rejecting.

Social Structure

Human society comprises a multitude of governments, attitudes, and lifestyles. Though the oldest human cultures trace their histories hundreds of years into the past, when compared to the societies of other races like elves and dwarves, human society seems to be in a state of constant flux as empires fragment and new kingdoms subsume the old. In general, humans are known for their flexibility, ingenuity, and ambition. Other races sometimes envy humans their seemingly limitless adaptability, not so much biologically speaking but in their willingness to step beyond the known and press on to whatever might await them.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Humans are everywhere in the world except for those places strictly forbidden them. They have adapted and overcome most every obstacle in their way to expansion and exploration.
