Yyridians

The people that were separated from the world during the Lifting are called Yyridians - the result of years of the races on the islands (primarily Elves, Half Elves, and Humans) slowly breeding together until it resulted in one homogenized race.
The Yyridians have an almond colored skin tone, with human eyes and lightly pointed ears. Many of them also have darker hair, and are fairly tall. The Yyridians have inherited the patience and stillness of the elves, and the determination and endurance of the humans.
They primarily practiced martial arts on the islands, perfecting their special techniques into incredibly lethal, but used nonlethally, techniques. It is very similar to the Wing Chun open hand style of fighting, redirecting the enemies force back against them.
Their endless patience means that Yyridians also make incredible mediators, able to see all sides of an argument and advocate for peace. They abhor unneeded violence, and often see it as a last resort for the greater good.
They tend to prefer tight tops and loose bottoms on their clothes, only attaching sleeves when in particularly cold situations. Often seen on their clothing is usually a cloth with a specific pattern on it, unique to the clans and families living in Yyrid. As pictured above, it is often worn around the waist.

Growth Rate & Stages
