The Ashen Petal

Following the Dawn War, magic and divine intervention lessened across Osserea. Because of this, many people began to rely on more practical forms of healing and recovering from wounds or even obtaining power from outside sources. With the gods and evils mostly gone from the world, remnants of their past presence were left on the land itself. Rare mushrooms, glowing herbs at the bottoms of rivers, and even the blood of foul creatures all possessed power when used correctly. Alchemists across Osserea learned this skill, and through experimentation perfected their craft.
The founding of the Ashen Petal was one based out of expansion instead of need. A guild founded on the sharing of information and methods of creation for others to also gain strength from the land. Later in its years of running it also began to trade in the very ingredients needed to produce the various concoctions their members were known for selling. From strength potions with giant toe nails inside to bottle fire from a dragons throat, their high quality products are known across many nations of Osserea.
Only one corporation was able to rise in response to their monopoly on the industry, and stands as their biggest competitor in many of the eastern nations.
