Kai Raito

Kai hails from the Raito Family of the Hangetsu Clan located in the Drurian Dynasty. An intelligent and nimble fighter. He finds the study of combat and the art of war fascinating, as well as calligraphy and cartography.

#3: Searching the Scorched Savanna

Tracks are discovered leading South from the massacred caravan site. After following them until they dispersed, the group is left with now no leads, as the stolen cart trails and large creature tracks fade into the sand. Arthur through some clever use of detect magic, notices that there is some magic at play. Illusionary magic is coating the tracks, where group begins to follow these into the dark desert. The trail is followed until the coming of the next dawn, where the group begins to set up a makeshift camp using javelins, bedrolls, and rope. During the 3rd watch a glint is seen in the distance, it seems to be coming from a very fast-moving creature, perhaps someone riding it. Sho and Kai go to investigate to no success. They head back to camp after a few hours.

#2: The Missing Caravan

Information is collected by various members of the new group regarding the dangers of the desert where the caravan and its transporters disappeared to. What could have possibly happened? After investigation of potential threats, there are plenty that live in the desert. From orc marauders, to pack hunting drakes, to large venomous vipers ready to ambush unsuspecting prey. Upon nightfall the group embarks on their new task out into the Scorched Savanna. They travel for just about a day and a half, making most of their distance at night while resting in the day. Finally seeing a looted and wrecked caravan, bones belonging to what can only be assumed as the members of the caravan, and dried blood scattered across the ground. There are tracks leading off into the desert, South. With no other clues or ideas as to who this caravan had in its ranks or what they may have been transporting.

#1: Gul-Dratum's Distress

Gul-Dratum's gates to the inner city are closed. There has been a burglary of the keep and the culprits are still at large. Kai, Sho, and a few newly met individuals decide to investigate this matter further after discussing it at the Rat & Dagger Inn. However, they run into trouble with a few thugs in the streets of the lower district. Getting into a conflict when they suggested that we pay them a sum of money. After disposing of the thugs, the group goes into the sewers to attempt to find a way into the inner city, but a maze of a sewer-system gets the group lost around in an unknown direction. Eventually hearing a noise that is found to be from an Undead source. After the battle with the thugs, the group decides to avoid another combat with potential undead and get out of the sewers back the way they came. Upon exiting they are greeted by First Paladin Deacon, who interrogates the group about the mess left out in the district and the dead thug bodies. The group explains the situation and is let off the hook with the condition that they look into the missing caravan in the desert to the Southeast.
