Melora

Melora, also known as The Wildmother, is the goddess of the wilderness, nature, and the seas. She is a member of The Ennead. Not much is known about the origins of Melora. She is believed to have appeared just a couple of centuries ago, though her worshippers can be found throughout the entirety of Osun.

Description

Melora is said to be a fair goddess, though she is quick to anger. Her fury manifests in the form of natural disasters—terrible storms, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and more.   She is depicted as a plump woman with red hair, vines and flowers growing in her hair and forming a crown on her head. She wears a white dress and is always barefoot.

Symbols

Melora's primary symbol is a wreath of grass and grain affixed to a crook. She also manifests through nature, speaking through plants or animals.

Worshippers

Melora is worshipped by many druids, hunters, and sailors. Most citizens of Kingdom of Taimotu worship Melora.
