The Ennead
The Ennead is a group of nine deities commonly worshipped on the continent of Osun. In the past, these nine have worked together in conjunction and harmony. However, over recent decades, conflict has arisen amongst the members, and several alliances have emerged within the group.
Dynamic Pairs
Every deity within the Ennead is a member of a dynamic pair, with the exception of Mystra. Each dynamic pair is a set of deities whose portfolios and domains are both complementary or oppositional to one another. The four pairs are:Holy Triads
Each member of the Ennead is also part of a holy triad, composed of three deities whose concerns relate to a specific energetic of the cosmos. The Triad of Nature is concerned with the balance and harmony of nature—plants, animals, even the rise and set of the sun. The Triad of Immateriality is concerned with forces beyond man, such as magic, death, and suffering. The Terrestrial Triad is most obviously concerned with the affairs of man, from love, to war, to art.- Nature: Melora, Pelor, Selûne
