Sune (SOO-nee)
Sune is the goddess of beauty, love, and passion, and is frequently called the Princess of Passion. She is a member of The Ennead, and has two aspects:
- Lady Firehair, the goddess of beauty in all its forms—sights, sounds, smells, tastes, tactile sensations, and feelings.
- The Lady of Love, the goddess of love, passion, and obsession.
Description
Sune is a benevolent, gracious deity, often whimsical and joyful in her disposition. However, she is also deeply vain, fickle, and flirtatious. Sune appears as an ethereally beautiful woman wearing only a near-transparent silk gown. She has long, luscious, curly red hair. All other aspects of her form—height, skin color, eyes, and more—change to suit the preferences of the viewer.Symbols
Sune's primary symbol is a red rose. However, she is also associated with animals in twos—pairs of doves, rabbits, swans, etc.Worshippers
Sune is the patron saint of many artists, musicians, and creators, alongside Oghma. Many who find themselves in love worship Sune, whether actively or passively.Divine Domains
