Gryph

Gryphs is the name given by the Outremarin to the chimerical gene-wrought beasts of the Damia. Feral gryphs live wild on Zion and other planets in the Damocles Marches, and both Outremer and the Brotherhood of the Wolf make use of them as steeds, beasts of burden, guard animals, and even pets.
