The Order of Bethany

A convent of Adepta Sororitas headed by Ioveta and established under the patronage of her sister Melisende. Inspired by the neurological damage suffered by Baudouin d'Châtillon, Ioveta's father, the Sisters ritually scour their cerebellums so they can feel no physical sensation using the sacred relic of their convent, the damaged Helm Mechanicus of Baudouin's Armiger which caused his own injuries. This ritual death is reflected in their choice of armor and habit; bone armor symbolizing the rejection of the flesh, purple habit as a corpse shroud, and white over the top of that as even in death they still serve the Emperor.
