Government
Basin is a community run hamlet that also heavily relies on their elders. Most of the people counted among Basin's population are a family of Firbolgs who actually live within the swamp and only very rarely visit the settlement.
Industry & Trade
Basin makes small monthly trips to Stonehill Keep to sell the mushrooms that grow all over the swamp. They also rely on finding at least one large pocket of bog iron every year to keep their people fed.
Geography
Basin is in the middle of the swamp. The ground is soggy and their only source of fresh water comes from a small pond that feeds from a river.
