The Tal
Basic Information
Anatomy
Tal were on average tall bipedal creatures, with two arms and two legs, and were plantigrades, walking on the soles of their feet, with toes and soles flat to the ground. They had 5 toes on each foot, and four fingers and a thumb on each hand.
They are the ancestor to all Rularian people, some traits falling down to their descendants. The Tal had long pointed ears, far longer than any Elven ear, but had a range of facial shapes; from harsh and angular to round and soft. They were a tall species, and were often very thin and lanky - some Tal were very muscular, for Tal standards, but would now be more equivilant to a toned human in physique, not large like a Goliath or Orc.
Genetics and Reproduction
Tal were mammalian, and reproduced via internal fertilisation and a a live birth after 10 months.
Growth Rate & Stages
Tal grew through their childhoods and adolescences' through their first two and a half decades, becoming adults around their 25/26th birthday. During the war Tal were considered adults when they turned 18, but post War the younger generations were given more time to grow and learn who they were as a person before being set forth into the world.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The Tal were an omnivorous speicies, eating anything from hunted meat and domesticated cattle, to grown grains and vegetables. They brought the knowledge of agriculture to Oxdara, teaching the Dragon's how to farm and raise cattle.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Tal were extremely attuned to magic, espically influential magic. During their time on Oxdara the Life Force was a lot less diluted amongst a large population, like today, so many Tal were born with magic attunement - those who weren't born with it naturally, were able to grasp control of the Life Force very easily.
It was with the Tal the first Draconic Bloodline sorcerers and half Dragons were born, as Dragon's fell in love with their new cohabitants of the plane.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
The only other species the Tal had any real interaction with were the Dragons. Whilst originally the Dragon's viewed the Tal as invaders to their world, bringing with them death, war and destruction as the Old Gods followed them, their views mostly changed during the war. After the Dragon Exodus, the Dragons that remained to fight for Oxdara alongside the Tal came to view them as kin, brothers in arms.
