Von Amor Dukedom
Garlic not included.
The dukedom consists of Foxtonian civilians who fled their kingdom after it split up due to the infighting caused by the events of the Breach.
While they live in relative comfort and luxury compared to other civilians, they also live in perpetual fear of the night and any place far outside of the borders of their towns and cities.
Their leaders are almost exclusively vampires who answer to a mysterious fiendish deity providing them wealth and power in exchange for frequent sacrifices. Disappearances occur often, mostly ones that will not be missed, travelling adventurers or people in the wrong place at the wrong time who are either never seen again, or fully drained of blood.
Most of the lands are clouded in a permanent fog or gloomy darkness that allows the dukes to venture outside even during the day, but keeps the lesser vampiric creatures away from the local populous.

"They mostly come out at night, mostly." -Evelyn Oakshire, owner of The Silver Bat tavern. But despite their vampiric condition, the dukes and duchesses treat their subject rather well with well-maintained infrastructure and low taxes, but outsiders are highly encouraged to only venture out during the day and carry the necessary gear to keep those who are out for blood at bay, though the law forbids the possession and distribution of these goods.

History
After the events of the Breach caused Foxtonia to erupt in a civil war and split up in the four courts of kings, many civilians who refused to serve their new lords fled the land to the west together with the Foxtonian Duke Albert Von Amor.
Since they had very few good and resources with them to settle these grasslands, the people of Amor lived in poverty as their duke tried to make ends meet and provide basic infrastructure to his new people.
When a mysterious entity came to the duke in his sleep and offered him help, he saw it as a grand opportunity to give back to his people. As promised, the entity bestowed the duke with enough wealth and resources to build up the cities and hovels into well-maintained settlements, rising the standard of living far higher than a regular Foxtonian citizen. Furthermore, due to the constant influx of good and wealth from the entity's realm, the people of Amor payed very little taxes and had plenty of time to enjoy bread and games, living in luxury for their whole lives.
But, as the duke and his people were distracted by their games, the entity worked behind the scenes and slowly started to turn the duke into a whole other being from the inside. His skin turned pale and he felt a thirst regular drinks and wine could not quench, he felt ill when walking in direct sunlight and felt his body grow weaker and weaker. Eventually, the duke was fully transformed into Oxum's very first Vampire, a pawn under the entity's control.
From that moment on, people who went out alone at night disappeared, only to be found completely drained of blood or mysteriously working in the duke's opulent manor. More and more folk turned into vampiric beings or full vampires, serving as the many dukes and duchesses of Amor as they oversaw their hamlets from their tall, dark gothic castles and mansions, clouded in perpetual magical darkness. Though the population grew scared to leave their homes at night and aware of the strange beings that lurked in the night, their local dukes and duchesses upheld Albert's ideals, treating their citizens with respect and allowing them to live in well-maintained and low-taxed towns and cities, though they now had to accept the occasional missing local or travelling adventurer as necessary sacrifices to keep their leaders happy and sated, as well as their mysterious patron deity.
