Heir Apparent

Before one can be made an official member of the Honeyshore Coven, they must first prove themselves by spending at least 6 months as an Heir Apparent after which they may be eligible to be inducted into the coven as an official Heir.

Qualifications

Must be related to the Head of Household in some way (may be a distant relative, does not have to be a direct descendant) in good standing of their family. Must be legally adopted (either as a child or adult) by the Head of Household Must be a witch

Requirements

Dedication to learning magic and to the Honeyshore Coven, occasional participation in coven activities, meetings, and events. Can be as young as 10, there is no age cap but usually Heir Apparents are under the age of 30.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Embarrassing their family, disobeying their Head of Household, acting dishonorably, or otherwise being an idiot. Some families are stricter than others. In some families, the title of Heir Apparent is not that important and in others it is vital.
