She knew Rosalind for a period of seven months during which the two of them formed an intense bond. The relationship ended abruptly, breaking Rosalind's heart, and it was the last they ever heard from her. Years later, we learn Frigga Thorneheart-Wood knew her tangentially during her time at school and that Sage married and had a child with her wife.
