Ancient alpha predators

Ancient predators which haunted the Kukai for years during the Ancient Era. Their name could be translated as "pure evil" in old kukai language. Their were said to be violent by nature, with no remorse or even conscience beyond hunger and bloodlust. These species are now extinct, after being wiped out by The grand tribe at the end of The pakai conflict.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The Pakai were a carnivorous primate species, very similar to gorillas in their appearance. Most of them were said to be around 2m tall and weight almost four times more than a Kukai. Although there is no actual record of these creatures, legends state that the pakai had incredibly sharp fangs, massive arm muscles and little body hair compared to other primate species. Some even say the pakai had yellow eyes which turned red after eating flesh.
It is also believed that an "alpha" variation of these species existed, almost three times the size and strength of an average pakai. They are described in some stories as immensely strong, fat-like and almost unable to walk.

Ecology and Habitats

It is known that the pakai came from the jungle, somewhere near the current location of Pukamut. Although they left their habitat to haunt the Kukai, which lived in the grassy savanna, there is nothing written or said about the pakai having trouble to adapt in a different environment. In fact, some say that their bloodlust allowed them to somehow "ignore" any environmental changes and even pain.
