House of Ragnvald

The House of Ragnvald is the ruling family of The North, having risen to power through rebellion and valor. Once commoners, they now stand as the most influential noble house in the realm, their name synonymous with The North's independence and strength.

Rise to Power

The Ragnvald family's ascent to nobility is recent and rooted in revolution. Eirik Ragnvald, born a commoner, ignited and led a civil rebellion against the rule of old Numeria, which was then a subjugated region or "slave state" of The Republic. Through his leadership, strategic brilliance, and personal valor, Eirik succeeded in breaking The North away from Numerian control and establishing it as an independent kingdom.

This successful rebellion catapulted the Ragnvald family from obscurity to the highest echelons of power. Eirik's siblings, Ref and Tola, played crucial roles in the uprising, their contributions earning them significant positions in the new power structure of The North.

The House of Ragnvald now stands as a symbol of The North's independence, strength, and the potential for even the lowliest born to rise to greatness through deed and valor. Their rule, while young, has already begun to reshape the political and social landscape of The North, breaking old noble lineages and forging a new era for their people.
