History

Planetouched creatures are unique beings who carry the essence of different planes within their very being. This infusion can occur through direct heritage from beings of other planes, such as genasi, tieflings, and kalashtar, or through mystical phenomena that intertwine their essence with planar energies, like gloamings. When the planes were created, the interactions between these realms and the material plane sometimes resulted in the creation of these extraordinary beings.
When the planes were formed, they were not isolated from each other; instead, they were interconnected through various portals, rifts, and mystical phenomena. Through these connections, beings from different planes often reached out, interacted, and even mingled with the inhabitants of the material plane. These interactions gave rise to the planetouched races, each bearing unique traits and abilities reflecting their planar heritage.
