Session XXVII: Blood Curse

General Summary

Blood Curse

Kai woke up feeling sick and weak - as she is paladin, she knew that this can't be any ordinary disease. They've asked around Laenen for help and were told that this could be curse from Blood Yokai. 
They've asked around and hired a guide which took them on road toward something they called "Doctor" who wasn't from Kara as they - they later found out he was from The Republic. 
During their travelling, they've met some strange locations that were giving clues they are entering dark part of Kara, they even met some dark figure in red cape that was arranging bones almost in middle of the road.

Tesor Galandro

Their guide took them to Tesor Galandro, so-called "demon-hunter" and "doctor" who arrived from The Republic decades ago and was studying and researching Blood Yokai and madnesses.
They've spoke to him about Kai's curse and he offered small ritual that could help them find out what is going on. 
They've strapped Kai to table with leather bands, covered her in some blood and took her own, this called up Blood Yokai, that laughted at them. However, Tesor, even though he was partly crazy, came up with two possible solutions - they must kill this Blood Yokai or drink celestial's blood. 
Then he and Darian drank few potions that gave them short-term madnesses and everything went south. 
Kai knew spiritmancy and so she could cleanse madnesses, so Darian was out of madnesses within few hours. However, they chaos and disarray summoned some blood demon, which appeared was hunting Tesor for longer time as he was poking his nose into their business. This blood demon told Kai and Darian to leave, so they did. What happened to Tesor is unknown.

Unicorn's Blood

After few days of wondering, they found out in forest an Unicorn. Kai approached it and begged this celestial for help, which after getting familiar with her situation, it did and allowed Kai to drink a bit of it's blood. This caused Kai to pass out and Darian had to carry her toward Laenen. After several days, Kai felt a bit better, but drinking Unicorn's blood has its own drawbacks and turned Kai's mind for several days a bit to the darker side.
