This is believed to be collision between to stars. Great explosion appeared that shined through the sky and made day as we know it.

The great explosion is still visible and will be for additional thousands of years - we know it as the Sun.

The explosion resulted in magical shards to fall upon current location where is Kara. This shards as they sank in the ocean, blasted with powerful energy creating the island.

Elves on Kara believe they are the only living species and there is no one else.
