Apple Tree

Apple trees are relatively easy to grow in Palimpsest, since they are resilient to the desert's hot climate. Prized for their fruit, they are grown in the noble and richer commoner districts, however since they require a lot of water, they are less commonly seen in the undercity where water is in short supply.
Apple juice is the drink of choice for Katiba Scarlett Dargent, and probably several of the other younger nobles, who are too young to drink alcohol, but also enjoyed by commoners further down in the city.
