Caraway

Caraway is grown in the hanging plantpots of Palimpsest, and is eaten as a seasoning and a vegetable. Their seeds are a popular spice used in cooking, the leaves added to soups and sometimes casseroles, and the pungent roots can also be cooked and eaten.
Caroway Baharat, one of the previous Viziers of House Baharat, was named after this spice, in the elven nature-inspired naming traditions.
