The trio bargained with the Candleman for the return of the crate. however, upon discovering how expensive the drugs inside the shipment would cost, they decided to just take the container and leave the Dream Tea with the Candleman. Sticking to the letter of the Star Chart rather than Whitecape's likely intended meaning, they left the empty crate in the Beggar Church as instructed and considered the mission complete.

Rumour at Court is that the Lord Captain Emissary has been in conversation with the Bakerstreets and Underhands about a cargo shipment "from parts elsewhere" that was reported missing when in transit through the Academic District. Later that day, Hugo Dargent and his companions recieve the assignment to acquire the Honourable Company crate T34426, possibly the same one, and leave it in the abandoned Beggar's Church.Givesday, Thiefmoon, 1312
At the Cradle Party of Sumac Baharat, the rumours around the shipment were that attempts to retrieve the cargo were "so far fruitless". Further rumours described how the crate got stolen, and pointed to the shipment containing drugs bound for Cyron Morpheus's Pleasuredome in the Academic District. Vizier Richard Dargent tasked his sons, Subvizier Victor and Katib Hugo Dargent, with the assigment of smoothing over relations with Cyron Morpheus, one of the major investors who has been scared off by the shipment theft, and to track down the missing shipment. Since neither the Company nor the Bakerstreets had had much luck retrieving the shipment, it is possible that Richard expected, perhaps even set up, his sons to fail in that part of their task.Needleday, Tinkermoon, 1313
