Victor Dargent and Satine Laureat married on Needleday Richmoon, in a wedding that had been planned to take place between Hugo Dargent and Satine Laureat.
After the secret relationship between Hugo Dargent and Castor Stargazer was discovered, Hugo went on a downwards rebellion spiral, breaking off his engagement with Satine Laureat. In order to save face and maintain their diplomatic relations with the Laureat Family, the Dargent Family arranged for their older son, the subvizier Victor Dargent, to marry Satine in Hugo's place.
