History

Mapday, Thiefmoon, 1312
A rumour was circulating the court that Viziera Damasque Laureat had been involved in some kind of Forbidden Summoning rituals - possibly Divs.
Goldday, Thiefmoon, 1312
At court both Absalom and Damasque Laureat were given a wide bearth, but the same treatment wasn't extended to Satine Dargent-Laureat, wife of Subvizier Victor Dargent, who through her marriage was therefore under the protection of House Dargent.
Scrapday, Tinkermoon, 1313
Lindie Asklepa stole Johann(a)'s Notes, in which Damasque Laureat was mentioned alongside Sweeney's Razor. The razor was described as containing something genie-like but not star-tied, indicating that it actually a Div. That same day, Lindie discovered that the inhabitant of the razor was a div who goes by Sweeney.
Goldday, Tinkermoon, 1313
A Whisper Vote was called by Vizier Cobbler Bakerstreet to pass judgement on Viziera Damasque Laureat for her forbidden summoning witchcraft. The Vizier, Absalom Laureat, was also called in the vote, although it was suspected that he would be forgiven until he was framed by a disguised Lindie Asklepa for compliciency with his wife's Div-summoning activities. Both Absalom and Damsaque were subsequently banished in the vote.

Disbandment

The House of Laureat disbanded with the banishment of the Vizier and Viziera, their only surviving active family being Dame Viziera Dulcinea Laureat (who was not in line for the Vizierdom) and Subvizier Satine Dargent-Laureat, who's husband, Victor Dargent-Laureat took up the position of Vizier under the Tailor and established the new House of Dargent-Laureat.
