Kingdom of Fjordhaven Council - Uktar 1376

General Summary

Upkeep Phase

Calling together his council in the Hammer of Moradin, King Bombo noticed the building in disrepair. Entering in, it was noticed that their councilor, Urik, was still missing. Alik attempted to contact them with a sending spell, however it failed. They decided to move on and meet without Urik. Warden Talamansi gave the unfortunate news of the kingdom. All of their farms had been completely destroyed, and their religious building all damaged due to the mad wizard's meddling. A plague had also spread through Stag's Redoubt, killing over 3500 of their citizens. The damage was severe, but King Bombo's resolve held fast as he began speaking with his council on how to best fix his kingdom.
Edict Phase

With their councilor missing, and with no way to contact him, Bombo thought it best to appoint a new person in his stead. Fovoum LargeBelly was appointed in the position, so that the people may still have a voice on the council. With the increase in needs to feed his people, Alik spoke up about the broken buildings, saying that as a show of good faith to the people, that he and Bombo should oversee the repair of the buildings personally, and let the kingdom's gold stay in its coffers. Bombo agreed, and immediately directed funds to commission the reconstruction of his farms so that his people do not go hungry.
Income Phase

Taxes were collected successfully, no money was taken from the coffers, or offered into the coffers.
Event Phase

Prim came from Draconia, and delivered the army information of the impending giant attack on her kingdom. Bombo pledged when the time came, he would send some of his armies to help fortify the city, as well as reinforce the battlefield. Alik reminded Bombo of the cost of moving units, but the portals between nations does help to mitigate the concern. With nothing else, the council was dismissed, ready to start rebuilding as only the ever resilent citizens know how.
