A Rare Find

General Summary

King Bombo Stonebone the 69th set out with his retinue to the mines to personally receive a special gem that his people discovered, after arriving and noticing the wreckage and lack of miners they began searchin the area finding a secret entrance to deeper tunnels and several small red dragons. A fight broke out and curiosly the dragons turned into goblins after being slain, they pushed on looking for the missing minersand stumbled upon several elementals fighting. The party rushed in saving an earth elemental who informed them that the goblins, fire elementals, magma elementals, and dragons in the area are up to something. As they moved on they found a large snail and through several attempts at communication determined to be friendly. Together with the snail they pressed on following him through the tunnels arriving in a large chamber. In the large chamber a pitched battle with dragons, elementals, and goblins broke out ending in the Kings forces victory, though after witnissing the dragon drop some stone in the volcano it became more active causing the mountain regions to shake. The room continued filling with lava so the party began sticking the dwarves to the massive snail and gave him the ability to fly, using a hole in the ceiling of the cavern made by some form of hammer to escape.
