Arbour Council - Alturiak 1376
General Summary
Upkeep
The Arbour Kingdom continues to be stable, its citizens happy and content. The treasury continues to support the needs of the kingdom.
Edict
Elena has decided to step down from the Council in order to focus on running the guild that was left in her charge. Stepping into her position is Covak. The kingdom accepted this change without fuss. Due to a period of upheaval and change, the kingdom has not been exploring for some time. As such, it was unable to expand its borders this month. However, with renewed energy from Raffyr, the council pushed to build up its fishing efforts along the coast. They also worked to build up their smaller settlements, building an inn and a housing district in Drake's Harbour and an herbalist in Pygmy Village. Desiring to expand their borders, the kingdom has also issued an exploration edict once again.
Income
The council decided not to pull any money from the treasury. Also, nobody donated either money or magical items toward the treasury. Taxes covered most of the cost of the Kingdom's efforts for this month.
Event
Perhaps due to a feeling of renewed energy from the Council, the merchants of Xiomara have also developed a new energy, creating a sort of boom to the economy.
