Arbour Council - Mirtul 1376
General Summary
Upkeep Phase
As spring comes into full swing, the kingdom of Arbour remains stable, with sufficient treasury to cover the kingdom expenses.
Edict Phase
With adventurers going out to explore and clear threats, the kingdom was able to expand its borders. (Claimed Hexes JJ52 and KK53) Taking advantage of the new land, the kingdom built farms in the open plains it had just claimed. They also built fisheries along previously claimed waterways. With the business of improving the land complete, the kingdom moved on to building up its settlements. They added two walls to the capital, as well as more housing. Finally, to end this phase of their monthly meetings, the council decided to enact a trade edict with their new vassel, planning to send a caravan from Xiomara to Emancipation.
Income Phase
No withdrawals were made from the treasury. No one deposited gold. No one sold expensive magical items. Taxes were successfully collected.
Event Phase
A local baker in Pygmy Village recently invented a new, more efficient oven. Bakers from across the kingdom flocked to see the new discovery. At the same time, scholars of the library of engineering went on a rampage, upset that an uneducated baker should outdo them. Troops were sent in to restore order, but not before the library was damaged.
