Black Forest Aid: Sep 6, 2021
General Summary
Jigsaw and Aurok set out to meet Khalid who posted that he wants to help the paladins, after meeting up with him in West Haventhey set out north and came under attack by a group of Troglydytes! They took a few hits but between the bombs and big weapon they defeated them. Arriving in Xiomara they met up with Dana and went to meet Eonan but he refused due to one persons alignment, Jigsaw upset the dinosaur left with Eonan questioned his new companions but could not determine who's fault it was, while discussing who's fault it was a hobgoblin arrived and said his group was also in need of guards to supply the paladins. They set out, the hobgoblin guards leaving the caravan in the parties hands once passed the fort. The camp stopped and a regular rest stop and sent the party to scout but they ran into a familiar face Yzzix the young gnoll looking for his father, after a brief discussion he took the rations and ran off. Moving on the party encountered a large creature known as a Ghoul-Claw, named that due to the fact that the only food source they have now are ghouls. Unsure what exactly it was and the fact that it could speak the party began to negotiate with it offering it food if it would work with them, in the end they sacrificed Jigsaw pony to the beast and brought it back to the caravans camp. The caravan continued for the day and the following day in the morning the party once more set out to scout finding skeletons waiting on the road. A battle ensued facing ranged skeletons on small hills and swordsman ones rushing them, the party made short work smashing them. They arrived at the camp that afternoon delivering fresh recruits, supplies, and even the chance of new allies with the Ghoul-Claw population.
