Egg Hunt
General Summary
Meako found out through a conversation with a totally sincere friend that he needed an egg to grow scales and become the Dragonborn he always wanted to be. Not wanting his dreams to die out, Prim organized a group of adventurers to set out and find an egg. Not wanting to dive headfirst into strange and new situations, Nightfall suggested the group should do some research first. Meako knew the city had a vast library and headed that way. Wandering off before they arrived though, Prim left them to sift through books and papers while she went and playfully terrorized the citizens of the city. During her games, she was interrupted by an invisible force turning her tricks back on her. A playful chase later, she learned the invisible creature was actually a fairy dragon that called themselves Medévah. Taking her new friend back to the library with her, she met back up with her friends whose research had left them more confused than when they'd arrived. Thankfully, Prim's new friend proved especially helpful, even offering to lead them towards the den of a problematic dragon that they could acquire an egg from.
On their way out of Xiomara they encountered a strange cloud of talking gas that claimed to be looking for someone named Rico. They assured the cloud that Rico could likely be found somewhere in Xiomara and sent the cloud on its way. A night's rest in the wilderness later, the party arrived at the mouth of a massive cave. Before they could head inside though, their newfound guide suddenly vanished. Worried but undeterred the party continued inside. Sitting atop a hoard of treasure, a large green dragon slumbered wrapped tightly around an egg with a deep purple shell. Prim wanted to try and sneak some of the gold away while it slept, but other memebers of the party made such a plan not so easy as they woke the majestic creature. A fierce warning was all the dragon was willing to give, which the party heeded for a time to allow Prim to continue sneaking around. But eventually, predictably, a fight ensued. A harrowing battle of sharp pine needles, magical fire, and a little luck gave way to victory for the group, who were quick to claim victory and head for home with their hoard and egg.
