Explore For Draconia - Hex CC53
General Summary
Prim, Dana, Azim and Lucky gathered in Draconia to do some exploration on behalf of the kingdom. Preparing themselves, they travelled south into unexplored lands. Their first day was largely uneventful, with the exception of Prim finding some useful herbs. They made camp in the mountains. About half way through the night, their camp was attacked by a pair of hill giants. Though the giants managed to destroy part of the stone shelter Azim had fashioned throught magic, they did very little to the party before being dispatched. The next day they awoke to a gloomy day which looked like it may rain. Around noon, they were attacked by a thunderbird. Prim was temporarily blown away, while the bird threw some tunderbolts at the party. It too was soon killed by the might of the party.
Toward the end of the day, they came across a cave with a rusty old portculis just inside the entrance. Making their way inside, they were attacked by a creature made of clay. After it nearly killed Lucky, they managed to bring it down. They found the wounds from it were difficult to heal, but eventually they healed them up. Through the door the creature was standing in front of, they met a small circle of myconids. These peaceful creatures managed to communicate their wish to be left in peace, desiring the kingdom to leave them alone. While Prim and Dana spoke to the myconids, Azim and Lucky delved deeper into the cave. Their they met the mad sorcerer, Migonnar, who raved at them to leave his home. Becoming angry, Migonnar prepared to unleash terrible magics at Azim, when Azim stepped back out of sight. But by this point, Prim popped her head around the corner and received the full fury of Migonnar. Since he used fire Prim called for his death, while Dana tried to subdue him and pleaded for his life. In the end, Migonnar was killed and the party rested in his home for the night.
On the final day of exploring, the party reached the summit of the mountain. They paused to survey the land from the lofty vantage point, when suddenly their sight was blocked by a cloud of mist. They were attacked by a cloud giant. This giant would have killed Lucky, were it not for Azim's magical shenanigans. In the end, they killed the giant and returned safely to Draconia.
